For an asset manager I'm recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst with experience in Financial Markets and Mid and Back Office processes.
For an asset manager I’m recruiting for an experienced and hands on interim Senior Business Analyst with solid experience in Financial Markets and in depth knowledge of Mid and Back Office processes.
My client is currently integrating the former organization in a new and wider organization which triggers various initiatives with an impact on Mid Office functions. Examples are:

• Replacement of the middleware tooling supporting many internal and external interfaces, with or without look ups, transformations and business logic;
• Replacement of our client transaction reporting application;
• Feeding transactions from applications of the new organization in legacy application (Blackrock) of the old organization.

The business analyst should be able to contribute to one or more of these projects where needed. The exact scope of work will be defined at the start of the assignment, and may also have another focus area outside the Mid Office.

• Senior Business Analyst with proven experience (minimum 10 years) in the Financial Markets, especially related to mid- and back-office processes, such as settlements, corporate actions and reconciliations. Function is for a business analyst meaning that experience in these areas in an operational role does not qualify;
• Experience (minimal 10 years) in analyzing processes, applications and interfaces, requirements gathering and solution design;
• Knowledge of AWS technologies and Blackrock Aladdin is considered a pre.

• Able to take a helicopter view, and advice over business processes, whilst also able and willing to perform detailed analysis where required;
• Able to cooperate with users to acquire requirements and to translate these to developers;
• Able to test changes, and to coordinate User Acceptance Testing;
• Used to work in an Agile environment;
• Able to work with colleagues with multiple cultural backgrounds who are partly off shore;
• Fluent in English, preferably Dutch speaking;

The business analyst is expected to start ultimately November 15, 2023. Earlier is better, but the onboarding will also require some time. The length of the assignment is initially for 6 months, and is expected to continue well into 2024.
My client is operating in a hybrid modus. The business analyst is expected to work parttime on location and parttime from home.
