And that is exactly what we stand for.To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed and experienced driver of open/special transport who is not afraid of a challenge on the road and when loading and unloading.
As a driver at Pol Transport you will drive an open trailer or special equipment (such as extendable trailers or semi-low loaders). No two days are the same: you transport special loads both nationally and internationally. You work independently, but have close contact with the planning and colleagues.
- Transporting loads with open trailers, semis or other special vehicles- Checking, securing and covering the load- Loading and unloading on location (independently or with the help of crane/fork truck)- Maintaining contact with customers and clients- Completing trip records, freight documents and damage forms- Handling equipment and vehicle responsibly- Ensuring a safe trip, even with deviating sizes and weights
- Driving license CE with valid Code 95- Experience in open transport and/or exceptional transport is a plus- Driver's license and valid VCA certificate (or willing to get one)- You are flexible, customer-oriented and work accurately- Technical insight and a good sense of responsibility- No 9-to-5 mentality - you know that special transport does not always run by the book- You speak good Dutch and can get by in German or English
