An understanding of current and future trends in the field of cybersecurity is also a strong requirement.

Clearly, this is a highly technical role, and it’s one that suits candidates who have experience working with a range of high-tech applications and processes. They can include:
IT Auditor qualifications and certifications
For many employers, the experience and knowledge gained in previous roles will be equally as important as formal academic qualifications, so candidates who have a proven track record in this field are highly sought after. University degrees will still have an influence, however, especially those in subjects akin to computer science, network security, computer engineering and information technology.
