IT employees can implement their own ideas, develop new IT solutions and concepts and thus contribute to the improvement of processes.
They act as an interface within the company and ensure that resources are provided correctly and without errors.
In the event of day-to-day problems with computer components and systems, you will provide support and advice in finding solutions.
You will help develop long-term strategic goals for systems and software in collaboration with internal and external customers, end users, IT administration and department management.
The tasks that are waiting for you:
Providing technical support and assistance for users (1st, 2nd, 3rd level support)
Administrative tasks including e.g. creation of user accounts, supervising interfaces and systems, acquisition and IT asset installation as well as configuration
Implementation and ensuring compliance with our Liebherr IT security policies
Design, implement, maintain, optimize and document IT solutions
Conducting business analysis and developing business intelligence processes on an international level
Participation in internal and external IT audits as well as their preparation

Possible competencies you will use in this area section:
IT knowledge of new IT trends, hardware, networks, Windows, basic electronics
Ability to develop a suitable technological solution and to drive IT improvements
Very good English language skills, further languages are beneficial
Extensive application support experience e.g. with MS Office apps, antivirus, user support or networking hardware
Analytical and strategic thinking skills
Professional educational background with IT specialization (e. g. successfully completed studies in computer science or a comparable qualification)

Development of a new application (Sales Innovation) to support sales and marketing
To get an overview of the quantity of Liebherr machines and different types which vary a lot the development of an application was necessary. The web-based application called “Sales Innovation” was especially developed from the IT personnel in a Liebherr company in Indonesia. These are the features and the outcome of this project:

• Presenting head offices of customers in Indonesia and also their mine sites inside an interactive map
• Showing the total Liebherr machine population and their type based on customer or based on each customer mine site
• Display customer contacts for sales and marketing personnel

Data analysis of our products
Data analytics of our products is meanwhile one of the most promising approaches to get the right insights for all stages in the lifecycle our machines. Three key factor in this multidisciplinary field of development are:

• the choice of appropriate mathematical methods like digital signal processing, statistical analysis, … etc.
• to process the right subsets of different data sources
• transform it to qualitative appealing information, enriched and combined with domain expert’s knowledge.

This explored and fusioned knowledge acts as a quantitative feedback of our products and belonging work processes to enable empowered decision making for us and our customers. The bottom line is to get the data accessible in a daily supporting manner.
Development of a procurement purchase request and purchase order system
To prevent same purchase request raised twice and having a better purchase request management as well as better monitoring, the IT experts of the Liebherr company in Indonesia developed a procurement purchase request and purchase order system. The system makes purchase requests easier to create, is able to export data to generate purchase orders, and shows the purchase order status in real time, quantity as well as different information and graphs for monitoring purposes.
