Assist the Lamination Operator in all elements of operating the lamination machine in a safe and efficient manner.
Identify and return materials to correct locations using SAP system to actively monitor and track
Load and unload reels from machine, wrap and weigh reels
Ensure the safe use of all lifting equipment in working area
Safe use of FLT truck, VNA truck and hand truck in working area, including daily checks
Assist with daily cleans and medical cleans
Completion of end of order duties
Separate and dispose of waste materials
Correct operation of bailing and core cutting machine
Active participation in 5 S
You have a moral & legal duty of care that requires you to abide by the companies Environmental, Health & Safety Policy and all relevant Environmental, Health & Safety Legislation
You must actively contribute to Nelipak Elsham efforts to promote behaviour that is both safe and environmentally responsible, highlighting any shortfalls or oversights in the sites EHS arrangements
You must only operate items of equipment for which you have been trained, deemed competent and authorised to use, ensuring they are used in accordance with any Risk Assessment & Safe Systems of Work. Keep tools and equipment in good condition, Report any defects in equipment to your Manager. Ensure that equipment is in a safe and secure state when unattended, abuse of site facilities, and the misuse of equipment
You must report any industrial injury, industrial disease, any incidents or near misses that have the potential to result in personal injury, property or environmental damage to your Manager
Make the most efficient and effective use of all resources. Ensure that waste is kept to an absolute minimum, and disposed of into the correct method. Ensure that substances that may pose a threat to the environment are used with care and in accordance with the instructions and training delivered.
