The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and documentation to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality products. This role supports current product production of industrialized products, introduction of New Product Introduction (NPI), process validation, capacity planning, and operational excellence initiatives aligned with Lean manufacturing, Continuous Improvement systems, and ERP/MRP integration.
The position requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Facilities, and Product Engineering to ensure production readiness, process capability, and compliance with applicable standards (e.g., ISO, API, ESD, or customer-specific requirements depending on product line).
Create and maintain standard work, routings, and work instructionsDesign, develop, and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing productsAssist with product qualification effortsPerform time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysisSupport layout, design, and workflow optimization for production areas.Support tooling design activitiesIdentify and eliminate waste using Lean principles (5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, etc.)Drives results through collaboration, influence, and reporting relationshipsCollaborates effectively with colleagues and peersInteracts and/or negotiates effectively with external and/or internal individuals to meet objectivesUtilizes Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive business initiatives
This position is office-based with frequent interaction on the manufacturing floor to support production, process improvement, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
The employee may be exposed to a manufacturing environment that includes moving mechanical parts, noise, and industrial equipment. Appropriate PPE shall be required when on the production floor.
This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). You must be a U.S. Citizen or National, U.S. lawful Permanent Resident, person granted Asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a Refugee.

What your background should look like
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 1-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite Ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies Able to deliver quality results with minimal oversight and direction Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well with others of diverse backgrounds Willingness to shift priorities with business demands

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $68.7k - 103k annually (subject to change dependent on physical location) Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
