The Quality Inspector utilizes various inspection devices to measure product characteristics for conformity against the drawing requirements.
The picking, inspecting, and packing of formed plastic parts, ensuring the quality of finished product being delivered to Nelipak Healthcare Packaging’s customers.
Responsible for inspecting in-process/final production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests, checking product characteristics against a drawing or product specification.
Communicating required adjustments to process coordinator and machine operators.
Document inspection characteristics observed during inspections.
Understand how to measure and record Variable and Attribute data.
Must be able to use and read basic measuring devices (steel rules, micrometers, and height gauges).
Must have the knowledge of inspection and test equipment (surface resistivity meters, Magna-Mike thickness measurement devices).
As required, generate Inspection Records for inspection of product.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
2-3 years of Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
High School diploma or equivalent
Good organizational and oral / written communication skills are required
Problem solving, teamwork, proactivity, interpersonal relationships, focus on results, initiative, commitment, customer orientation, rigorous, orderly, leadership, work under pressure.
Walking/standing for long periods of time.
Must use safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, hair and beard nets for the production area.
