Agile software development and implementation of modern data driven IoT solutions and connected systems compliant with security standards and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Perform external benchmark, follow market trends and analyze customer needs by using big data
Optimizing digital data transfer and support with cybersecurity
Work with UX experts to bring prototypes to productive level using the latest DevOps ideas and concepts
Simulation, testing and acceptance of development results

Where game development meets the crane control system!
The Crane Planner 2.0 is the Liebherr lift planning tool for crawler and tele mobile cranes that explains the lifting process from the pick to the set of the load. To understand the process, you can immerse the lift with VR goggles and experience the Crane Planner 2.0 in 3D.
The invention of the Crane Planner 2.0, one of our Digital Solutions for customers, had specific challenges for the Liebherr product managers: understand the requirements of new digital users (non-machine users), specify the needed functionality that improves the daily work of our customers, find partners with strong skills (e.g. 3D visual skills like game developers) or support the development of new topics such as a license management or a payment provider.
As you can see a product manager needs to be very versatile. You need to understand the customer and you have to be creative in your thoughts and strategic in your doings. However, in the end our product managers are helping to create a fascinating product and are part of a highly motivated Liebherr team.
In interdisciplinary teams we worked on a monitoring solution for professional B2B applications with extensive alarm and reporting capabilities as well as advanced predictive maintenance features.
