For our company specializing in custom machine building, we are looking for a driven software engineer for the automation department at Twin-Tech. With our enthusiastic team of technicians, we develop and build custom machines and production lines. The entire process, from concept design to assembly and commissioning, is carried out in-house. We also support other companies in the development of new machines, production lines, and factories through our engineering services. Solicitation in response to this vacancy is not appreciated.
As a software/PLC engineer, you are responsible for devising, developing, programming, and commissioning controls for machines, robotic solutions, and production lines. Together with your team of software, electrical, and mechanical specialists, you work on designing and building innovative machines.
What are you going to do?
Designing and setting up machine and production line controls
Designing the user interface in collaboration with a UX designer
Selecting, connecting, and commissioning electrical hardware components
Commissioning the machines and installations
Preparing and maintaining software documentation, including functional specifications, connection diagrams, and user manuals.
Providing technical support for malfunctions
Within the team, you are responsible for the machine hardware, software, and controls.
HBO/WO diploma in elektrotechniek, industriële automatisering, werktuigbouwkunde of een gerelateerd vakgebied.
Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in de machinebouw
Uitgebreide kennis van PLC-systemen, zoals o.a. Siemens, Beckhoff, CodeSys, en hun toepassingen binnen de machinebouw.
Ervaring met PLC-programmering en machinebesturing in industriële omgevingen
Bekendheid met machineveiligheid en relevante normen
Sterke probleemoplossende vaardigheden en het vermogen om snel te reageren op technische uitdagingen.
Bekendheid met industriële communicatieprotocollen zoals Profibus, Profinet, EtherCAT, etc.
Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en het vermogen om effectief te communiceren binnen multidisciplinaire teams.
Nederlands en Engels in woord en geschrift
Ervaring met het ontwerpen en programmeren van motion control systemen.
Kennis van robotica en robotbesturingssystemen.
Ervaring met C# of vergelijkbare programmeertalen
Ervaring met E-plan of vergelijkbare softwarepakketten
