Supermicro is seeking a Software Design Engineer in Taiwan. This role will be working within a team to design, implement and maintain our front-end of server management product. Candidate should be self-motivated and eager to satisfy customers' need by considering security, performance, optimization and usability in their designs.

• Server management software architect, design, write design document and work with team members to implement and validate.
• Cutting edge Server technologies consumption
• Innovate competitive server management software features.
• Enhance user friendliness with automating server management services.
• Sorting complex server firmware/hardware functionalities. Present functionalities with simple and friendly user interface.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions.
• Preferred programming language: C++/C/Golang
• Good communication skills in English.
• Good attitude for teamwork and self-motivation.
• Having the following experience would be a plus:

a) Web service / Microservices design & development
b) Go programming Language (Golang)
c) C++11/C++17 programming, C++ cross compilation
d) Management software development for server firmware control/firmware update.
f) Software architecture and software design pattern
j) Continuous integration framework with git/docker/cmake
n) Other high level programming language, ex. Python
o) For Sr. Software Design Engineer, 5+ years of software work or equivalent experience.
p) For Software Design Engineer, new graduation or no experience is welcome.
