This is what your working day looks like
In this role, you will be the main point of contact for everything related to procurement, logistics and planning. You will work closely with colleagues in Production, Sales and Quality to ensure that materials, orders and deliveries flow smoothly through the organisation. Your responsibilities will include monitoring delivery times, placing and checking purchase orders, and maintaining contact with suppliers. In addition, you will actively work on improving processes: you will identify issues, analyse bottlenecks and propose concrete improvements to optimise lead times, delivery reliability and efficiency. You are quick to adapt, think in terms of solutions and know how to get different parties moving within an organisation characterised by short lines of communication and an informal, professional culture.
What skills do you bring to the role of Supply Chain Engineer?
A completed higher professional education degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering and Management or a similar field
Experience in supply chain, logistics or procurement (at least 1 year of relevant work experience)
Experience with ERP systems and, preferably, with Excel (knowledge of Python is an advantage)
A good command of spoken and written Dutch and English
