This is what your working day looks like
As an Assembly Operator, you will carry out precision assembly work on a wide range of products. You will assemble parts ranging from small, delicate components to larger, pallet-sized structures. You will mainly work on small batches, where accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
You will use various assembly techniques such as riveting, gluing and creating mechanical joints. Using technical drawings and work instructions, you will ensure that each product is assembled correctly. You will carefully check your own work and adhere to strict quality and safety guidelines.
Together with your colleagues, you ensure that every product meets the high standards of the aerospace and defence industries.

Experience isn’t the most important thing for this role. What matters most to us is that you’re keen to learn and have an interest in technology. With a steady hand and a meticulous approach to your work, you’ll be a great fit for this role.
