Finance Intern

At HTM Technologies, you will have the opportunity to support the transition from AccountView to Exact for two of our locations. You will investigate how we can make our financial administration smarter and more consistent, and help put this new way of working into practice.
During this internship, you will learn how financial processes are structured within a technical organisation and how to analyse, improve and translate them into a new software system. You will gain hands-on experience in financial administration, data migration, process optimisation and ERP software.

This is what your working day looks like
As a Finance Intern, you will work from our Hengelo location together with a team of 4 to 5 colleagues. The team includes a Financial Controller, Assistant Controller and Financial Administrative Employees.
You will be actively involved in the full migration process and work closely with colleagues within HTM Technologies who already use Exact. This means you can build on existing knowledge while also thinking critically about the best setup for HTM Precision and HTM PSM.

During your internship, you will

Analyse the current setup in AccountView and prepare the transition to Exact;
Help design a logical and consistent setup in Exact;
Harmonise general ledger structures and financial master data;
Check, clean and prepare financial data for migration;
Test the new setup and identify and solve potential issues;
Document the new setup and working methods clearly for colleagues;
Conduct independent research and propose improvements.

Who are we looking for?
You are currently studying Finance & Control, Accountancy, Business Economics or a similar HBO programme;
You have an analytical mindset and are comfortable thinking critically about process improvements;
You quickly learn how to work with new software systems;
You enjoy working independently on a project while actively collaborating with colleagues;
Experience with AccountView or Exact is a plus, but certainly not required.
