What will you be doing as a gardener?
As a gardener, you work every day on creating, maintaining and improving outdoor spaces. Your work may involve a variety of tasks:
Landscaping of private and commercial gardens
Planting borders and green spaces
Pruning trees, shrubs and hedges
Laying paving and garden surfacing
Working with modern machinery and tools

No two days are the same. You’ll be working at various locations in the Nijmegen, Wijchen, Beuningen and Druten areas and the surrounding region.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for enthusiastic people who enjoy working outdoors and have an affinity with nature. Previous experience as a gardener is an advantage, but not essential.
An experienced gardener or someone keen to learn the trade from a qualified gardener in the Nijmegen area
Physically fit and keen to keep active
Hold a Category B driving licence (preferred due to various projects)
Living in the Nijmegen area or willing to work there

Salary in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Gardeners
The salary range is €2,575 – 3,475 per month, depending on experience
Full-time job (36–40 hours per week)
Opportunities to undertake training programmes and courses
Career progression opportunities within the green sector
Working in a friendly and professional team
A variety of projects in the region
Prospect of a permanent position
