SAP Database Management Specialist

What You’ll Be Doing

✔️ Managing and optimizing SAP databases, including SAP HANA, ensuring performance, availability, and scalability

✔️ Overseeing database architecture and setup, ensuring it aligns with business and technical requirements

✔️ Performing regular database health checks, troubleshooting issues, and resolving performance bottlenecks

✔️ Implementing database upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal disruption to business operations

✔️ Monitoring database performance metrics, optimizing queries, and ensuring smooth operation of SAP systems

✔️ Managing database backups, disaster recovery procedures, and ensuring business continuity for SAP databases

✔️ Collaborating with infrastructure and development teams to support application performance and database integration

✔️ Providing guidance on best practices for database management and SAP database technologies

What We’re Looking For

✔️ Proven experience in managing SAP databases, including SAP HANA or other SAP-related database technologies

✔️ Strong expertise in database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting

✔️ Experience with database backup and recovery, replication, and disaster recovery procedures

✔️ Familiarity with SAP landscape management and integration of databases with SAP systems

✔️ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex database issues efficiently

✔️ Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders

✔️ SAP HANA certification or other relevant database certifications are a plus
