For a bank I'm recruiting for an Interim Manager Finance & Control with strong experience in Banking and with accounting, control and IFRS.
For a bank I’m currently recruiting for an Interim Manager Finance & Control. The ideal candidate has 5-10 years managerial experience in Banking, a strong background in accounting and control and extensive knowledge of IFRS. It’s considered a plus if you have experience with change projects. The candidate must be a real people manager with exceptional soft skills and be able to have strong discussions with relevant (internal) stakeholders.
The Finance team consists out of +20 FTE and is responsible for Accounting, Statutory reporting (Annual Accounts), Regulatory reporting to the Dutch Central Bank, Budgeting & Forecasting and IFRS Policies.
Additional to the team’s responsibilities mentioned above the Interim Manager Finance & Control will be specifically responsible for the following activities:
- guide the year-end process together with the external accountant
- manage the finance team and secure the business as usual and continuity
- lead and/or take part in the existing change projects
- take steps to bring finance and sustainability closer together
- internal board reporting and delivery of management / steering information to stakeholders
The term of the contract is (at least) 6 months based on 40 hours per week. The start date is the 15th of October or ultimately the 1st of November. The bank has a hybrid way of working and on average people work 50% remote and 50% on location.
