Senior Consolidation & reporting Manager
app. € 100.000 + bonus + an attractive benefits package
Internationally operating organisation with multiple entities and activities across various European markets. The organisation is currently in a phase where further standardisation, harmonisation and digitalisation of reporting processes are key priorities.
Responsible for coordinating and executing the group-wide consolidation and reporting process within an internationally operating organisation. The role focuses on ensuring timely, reliable and consistent financial information to support management decision-making and the further professionalisation of the finance function.
Lead and execute the monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation process;
Prepare consolidated financial reports and management information;
Lead the implementation and optimisation of a (new) consolidation and reporting system;
Design and improve consolidation processes at entity and country level;
Act as the central point of contact for international finance teams;
Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes;
Ensure compliance with relevant reporting standards and internal control frameworks;
Support complex accounting and reporting matters, such as transactions, valuation issues and lease accounting;
Standardise and structure reporting and data flows across the group;
Contribute to the analysis of financial results and the improvement of planning and control processes;
Member of the central group control team;
Direct reporting line to a senior finance leadership position;
Close collaboration with international finance stakeholders.
Approximately 10+ years of relevant experience in international reporting, consolidation or accountancy;
Strong knowledge of international accounting and reporting standards (IFRS), preferably including IFRS 16;
Experience with ERP and consolidation systems and advanced spreadsheet applications;
Professional accounting qualification is an advantage;
Strong communication skills in an international environment;
Able to operate independently and bring structure to complex environments;
Excellent command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
