Production Planner

Creates plans, forecasts, and schedules relating to materials required and maintains proper inventory levels to meet operational requirements.
Participate in company safety training and comply with EHS policies.
Responsible for production planning, scheduling and inventory control using SAP.
Work closely with Production and plant support teams to ensure effective execution of plans.
Develop production plans that meet customer service requirements while maintaining optimal inventory and manufacturing costs.
Create and release production orders based on demand, component availability and capacity constraints.
Manage MRP exception reports and optimize finished goods inventory.
Provide product availability information to Customer Service and confirm customer orders in SAP.
Reduce past-due orders and drive pull-in improvement actions.
Participate in weekly and monthly production review meetings.
Minimize premium freight costs while ensuring customer delivery requirements are met.
Monitor capacity utilization and production order fulfillment to support on-time delivery.

Minimum 5 years of experience in production and material planning.Strong communication and analytical skills.Good spoken and written English.

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
