QA Analyst

The Specialty Synthesis Group Quality Assurance Team is looking to add a to the dynamic group. PPG's Specialty Products is committed to product innovation, technology leadership and high performance materials for a wide range of applications and industries. Solving complex problems with unique solutions has been the legacy of PPG and improving the performance features and benefits of our customers’ products will continue to drive our customer relationships and technology innovations. As QA Analyst, you will work out of the Monroeville, PA facility and report to the Quality Manager.
Timely preparation and submission of analytical samples for incoming raw materials, in-process batches and finished goods
Tabulation and interpretation of analytical test data
Liaison between production groups and QC Test Lab.
Raw material and batch approval to established specifications
Reporting and communication of batch dispositions
Participation in root cause investigations and problem-solving activities
Support Quality Management System Activities
Develop personally and professionally through work experience and by acquisition of new skills as determined by the expanding needs of the position.

B.S. degree in chemistry related field preferred with experience in quantitative analysis of HPLC, UPLC and GC techniques.
Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience is desirable.
Ability to perform light duty work including lifting a minimum of 25 lbs.
