CE driver (national) – General

Introduction
As a CE driver, you drive national routes for one transport company in the Netherlands. You earn €18 to €22 gross per hour, depending on your experience and the client. On top of that, you receive an allowance for overtime. Do you need accommodation? We arrange that for you, always with your own bedroom. We first discuss your experience and wishes, including your schedule and type of transport. Then we find the transport company that suits you.

Where you will work

You work for one transport company in the Netherlands. This can be a company in distribution, container transport, bulk or refrigerated transport. First we discuss your experience and wishes, including your schedule and type of transport. Then we look at which company suits you best and introduce you there. If you are hired, you start working there, with the goal of staying there. The size of the team and who supervises you varies per client. Youll hear about that from us in advance.

What you will do

The exact tasks you perform depend on the client. Your work typically includes the following:

• You drive a tractor-trailer or truck with trailer throughout the Netherlands
• You load and unload at customers, distribution centers or terminals, often using a pump truck or electric pallet jack
• You check your cargo, secure it properly and inspect your truck before departure
• You comply with driving and rest times and record them with your driver card
• You handle freight documents and report delays to planning
• You keep your truck clean and safe

Practical Details

• Location: with one client in the Netherlands. Well determine which one together
• Routes: within the Netherlands, and you return to your home every day. This can involve distribution, containers, bulk or refrigerated transport
• Schedule: usually day shift with an early start, sometimes on Saturday. Well agree on this in advance so you know what to expect from the start
• Working conditions: these vary by client and well discuss them with you beforehand. Be prepared for long working days, early starts, traffic, loading and unloading in all weather conditions and occasional lifting
• Start date: to be agreed

What we ask

• In possession of an EU passport - a residence permit is not sufficient
• Class CE driving license
• Valid Code 95 and a digital tachograph card
• You can work 45 to 60 hours per week
• You speak English at an understandable level

Nice to have

• ADR certificate
• Experience with a truck-mounted crane

What we offer

• €18 to €22 gross per hour, depending on your experience and the client
• Overtime is paid with a surcharge on your base hourly rate
• Need housing? Well arrange it for you, always with your own bedroom. Your contribution will be deducted from your salary. Already have your own place? Thats fine too
• 45 to 60 hours per week
• Contract via EU Force, with the intention for long-term employment
• Weekly payment
• Minimum 8% holiday allowance and minimum 24 holiday days
• Minimum 23.4% pension contribution on the pension basis, of which you contribute 7.5% (deducted before tax)
• Health insurance via EU Force possible, costs will be deducted from your salary
• Travel expense allowance for own transport. Transport via EU Force is possible for your own contribution
