Wat ga je allemaal doen?
As an all-round production worker, you will be involved in every stage of food production, from preparing ingredients and making dough to operating production machines and checking product quality. You will learn the full production process and gradually take on more responsibility as your skills and experience grow.

What will you be doing?

Operate, set up and monitor food production machines;
Prepare and weigh ingredients according to recipes;
Make fillings and prepare different types of dough;
Bake and fry products following production guidelines;
Carry out quality checks throughout the production process;
Identify and report minor machine faults or production issues;
Support the packaging department when needed;
Clean production machines, tools and work areas;
Follow food hygiene and workplace safety procedures.

This varied production job is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, likes learning new skills and feels comfortable taking responsibility. You will develop your knowledge of recipes, machine operation and food preparation while working closely with your colleagues to complete each order on time and to the required quality standards.

In return for your hard work, we offer

An hourly payment of €15.66 based on a 38-hour working week, depending on your knowledge and experience;
A travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre for commuting distances of 10 km or more;
A 38-hour working week with daytime shifts;
Working hours from 06:00 to 14:30 or 07:00 to 15:30, agreed together;

Who are we looking for?
Experience in food production, a bakery, a kitchen or a similar production environment is preferred;
Technical aptitude and a willingness to learn how to operate production machines;
The ability to follow recipes and work instructions independently;
An accurate way of working, with attention to food hygiene and product quality;
A flexible attitude and a willingness to support your colleagues;
Enthusiasm for varied, hands-on production work;
The ability to maintain a steady production pace without compromising quality;
A good command of Dutch and/or English to understand instructions and communicate with colleagues;
Knowledge of HACCP and food safety is a plus, with the opportunity to learn on the job.

Our client is a growing and ambitious food production company specialising in authentic Surinamese products. Quality, craftsmanship and efficiency are at the heart of the business, with the team working every day to deliver fresh and flavourful products.
The company will soon relocate its production facility from Breukelen to Zeewolde, where it will continue to expand its team. The new, modern facility in Zeewolde will enable the company to work more efficiently, support further growth and further improve its production processes.
Hoe ziet die er uit?
Your working day starts at 06:00 or 07:00. Together with your colleagues, you discuss what needs to be produced that day and divide the tasks. You check the ingredients, prepare dough or fillings according to the recipes and set up the necessary machines. Throughout production, you keep a close eye on progress to ensure everything runs smoothly and the products meet the required quality standards.
During the day, you regularly move between different workstations. One moment you may be operating a machine or helping with dough preparation; the next, you could be preparing a filling independently or helping with baking, frying or packaging. This means you won’t spend the entire day on the same production line. Once production is finished, you and your colleagues thoroughly clean the machines, equipment and work areas. Your working day ends at 14:30 or 15:30.

You will join a true family business, run by a mother and father and their two daughters. The atmosphere is friendly, informal and supportive. Several colleagues have worked here for twenty years or more, which says a lot about their loyalty and connection to the company.
The team consists of around 25 employees representing ten different nationalities. Everyone brings their own background and experience, working together to produce high-quality products. There is also time to socialise and relax.
At lunchtime, you can choose something from the company’s own products, such as a Surinamese meal, and fruit or chocolate is regularly available in the canteen. The new facility in Zeewolde will also have a test kitchen, where shared lunches may be organised in the future. There is also a fun annual team outing for the whole company.
