QPS B.V. is seeking a Software Developer to strengthen the team in our Zeist office. This individual will work with our team of software developers to assist with development, maintenance, and deployment of our software.
Develop new features using best practices in software development;
Write unit and integration testing of the work completed as it undergoes quality assurance;
Conduct research, estimation, and design;
Participate in the daily stand up and other project meetings;
Document work completed including user manuals;
Be part of a skilled energetic development team

2+ years of relevant experience as software developer and technical insight;
Knowledge of C++ or Object Orientated Programming;
Able to work comfortably in a Windows development environment;
Experience with source control tools such as Git;
Analytical thinker, flexible and creative;
Dutch Citizenship or Dutch job permit;

Familiarity with CAD / GIS, cartography, or mapping applications;
Experience using the Qt Application Development Framework;
Exposure to agile development methodologies;
