Job Opening: Fiber Optic Technician (Full-Time)

About the Role

Lainfra is seeking a skilled Fiber Optic Technician to support our growing telecommunications infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optic networks across residential and commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, splice, and test fiber optic cables (FTTH / FTTO)

• Perform cable blowing and underground cabling operations

• Conduct network maintenance and fault diagnostics

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

• Prepare technical documentation and project reports

Requirements

• Proven experience in fiber optic installation and splicing

• Familiarity with telecom infrastructure standards

• Ability to read technical drawings and network diagrams

• Valid driver’s license

• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• VCA certification

• Experience with OTDR testing equipment

• Knowledge of Dutch telecom regulations
