Our client is a premier real estate and property development firm specializing in value-add opportunities, sustainable growth, and asset optimization. His approach integrates Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies across all projects, ensuring long-term resilience and alignment with evolving sustainability standards.
Develop and integrate ESG frameworks into project workflows, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with sustainability consultants, engineers, and stakeholders to achieve environmental performance targets, including energy efficiency and carbon reduction.
Monitor and report ESG-related KPIs, ensuring compliance with investor, regulatory, and company expectations.
Drive initiatives for green building certifications such as BREEAM, LEED, and WELL.
Oversee daily construction activities to ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to address challenges and enhance site efficiency.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures.
Ensure ESG requirements are incorporated into procurement, materials selection, and operational practices.
Serve as the primary contact for all ESG-related site activities, reporting directly to senior management.
Prepare and present progress reports to internal and external stakeholders, including investors and regulatory bodies.
Engage with tenants and community groups to promote sustainability initiatives and enhance environmental awareness.
Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Over 5 years of experience in project engineering or construction management, with a strong focus on ESG initiatives.
Proven ability to implement sustainability measures in construction or commercial property development.
Experience with projects requiring green certifications (e.g., BREEAM, LEED, WELL) and ESG compliance.
Strong knowledge of Belgian and EU sustainability regulations, as well as local construction codes and standards.
Fluency in English and Dutch; French is a plus.
