Zie jij bugs voordat anderen ze doorhebben? Voor een snelgroeiende e-commerce organisatie zijn wij op zoek naar een Software Tester die verder kijkt dan alleen testen en direct impact wil hebben op de ervaring van miljoenen gebruikers.
De organisatie ontwikkelt in-house apps, websites en systemen die dagelijks door een groot publiek worden gebruikt. Jij zorgt ervoor dat deze altijd optimaal blijven werken.
Je komt terecht in een organisatie waar serieus en gefocust wordt gewerkt, maar waar ook volop ruimte is voor ontspanning: van een borrel of potje tafeltennis tot activiteiten als boulderen of padellen. Niets moet, alles mag.
Je maakt deel uit van een QA-team van zo’n 15 collega’s, waaronder product owners, softwaretesters en UX designers, dat gezamenlijk verantwoordelijk is voor een optimaal functionerend platform. Daarnaast werk je intensief samen met een development-team van circa 50 medewerkers, verdeeld over de disciplines back-end, front-end, infra en mobile. Je schakelt regelmatig tussen de afdelingen Support, Quality Assurance en Development.
Als Software Tester test je alle bestaande en nieuwe software die in-house wordt ontwikkeld, waaronder iOS- en Android-apps, verschillende websites en CRM-systemen. Je test hierbij op handmatige wijze: functioneel, release, live, bugs en visueel testen maken allemaal onderdeel uit van je werk.
Bug-management vormt een groot deel van je takenpakket. Je identificeert, brengt in kaart en documenteert bugs op de website en in de app. Daarnaast voer je voorbereidend werk uit om projecten en functionaliteiten optimaal te kunnen testen, zoals het opstellen van testplannen en het bepalen van de benodigde testmaterialen.
Je draagt actief bij aan het verbeteren van de testprocessen en het implementeren van best practices, en ondersteunt collega-testers en product owners bij het definiëren van productvereisten en specificaties.
Minimaal 1 jaar ervaring als softwaretester (zowel junior als medior/senior profielen zijn welkom);
Sterk analytisch denkvermogen en een kwaliteitsgerichte instelling;
Goede communicatieve vaardigheden, teamplayer, proactief en in staat om ad hoc te schakelen;
