Design and implement scalable streaming applications using Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams, applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) to model bounded contexts for identity stitching and user profiling.
Migrate legacy Spark batch processing pipelines into real-time, event-driven streaming applications, reducing latency from hours to milliseconds.
Optimize data pipelines capable of processing terabytes of event data daily with low latency, high availability, and strong fault tolerance.
Own your applications end-to-end, deploying microservices to Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) using modern CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native observability.
Partner with stakeholders, privacy specialists, fellow developers to translate complex business domains into clean, event-driven domain models.

Experience implementing highly available and scalable big data solutions
In depth knowledge of at least one cloud provider, preferably AWS
Proficiency in languages such as Scala, Python or Java specifically in the context of streaming data workflows
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of modern software engineering best practices
You see the value in a team and enjoy working together with others, also with techniques like pair-programming
You either have an AWS certification or are willing to achieve AWS certification within 6 months (minimum: AWS Certified Associate)
