Are you an experienced Teamlead Finance or Finance Manager in Barneveld who enjoys building structure, improving financial processes and developing a small finance team? For an international B2B manufacturing company with its headquarters in Barneveld, Gelderland, we are looking for a hands-on finance professional who can strengthen financial reporting, internal controls and the overall Finance & Administration function.
The role
As Teamlead Finance / Finance Manager, you are responsible for designing, implementing and continuously improving the financial and administrative organisation. You lead a Finance & Administration team of 4 FTE and ensure accurate, timely and reliable financial information.
You translate internal and external developments into practical improvements in administrative organisation, internal control, financial reporting and process optimisation.
Your responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead, coach and develop the Finance & Administration team of 4 FTE.
- Improve and monitor financial processes, procedures and reporting structures.
- Strengthen AO/IC, internal controls and financial governance.
- Safeguard accurate, complete and timely financial administrations, including period closings and statutory reporting.
- Translate the annual departmental plan into priorities, activities, budgets and deadlines.
- Structure roles, responsibilities and areas of focus within the finance department.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency and stronger financial control.
Your profile
You are a structured, analytical and people-oriented finance professional. You combine leadership with a hands-on approach and feel comfortable in an international B2B environment.
You bring:
- A completed higher education degree, preferably HBO+/WO, in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Teamlead Finance, Head of Finance Administration or similar.
- Strong knowledge of AO/IC, financial reporting, period closings and internal control.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing a small finance team.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to separate key issues from details.
- A practical, hands-on mindset when operational support is needed.
Experience with process optimisation, change management or an international manufacturing environment is a strong advantage.
