In dit dynamische en multidisciplinaire team werk je nauw samen met wetenschappers, onderzoekers en dierverzorgers aan de ontwikkeling van innovatieve vaccins en biotherapeutica. Providing veterinary expertise during the preparation, execution, and evaluation of R&D and QC animal studies.
Safeguarding animal health and welfare across multiple animal species and having final responsibility for veterinary interventions where applicable.
Monitoring animal health, assessing clinical findings, and developing appropriate treatment plans when needed.
Driving continuous improvement in animal health and welfare through application of the 3R principles: Replace, Reduce, and Refine.
Providing veterinary leadership and guidance to animal care and technical staff and sharing expertise through coaching, training, and knowledge transfer.
Acting as a trusted veterinary advisor throughout the lifecycle of animal studies, balancing scientific objectives, regulatory requirements, and animal welfare.
Developing, implementing, and continuously improving veterinary procedures, methods, techniques, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and research protocols.
Participating in cross-functional projects focused on innovation, operational excellence, new capabilities, and improvements within Animal Research.
Contributing to the safe, ethical, and compliant execution of animal studies in line with GLP, GMP, animal welfare, and EHS requirements.
Collaborating with researchers, study teams, animal care professionals, and stakeholders across R&D, QC, Manufacturing, EHS, and Animal Welfare to continuously improve study execution, animal care, and welfare standards.

DVM degree recognized in the Netherlands.
Several years of relevant veterinary experience, preferably working with multiple animal species.
Strong interest in animal health, animal welfare, and scientific research.
Strong learning agility and willingness to continuously broaden veterinary and scientific expertise.
Ability and willingness to share knowledge, coach colleagues, and contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Proactive and ownership-driven mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and translate ideas into action.
Sound decision-making skills and the ability to communicate decisions clearly and respectfully.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across different disciplines and functions.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment focused on teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Good command of English; proficiency in Dutch or willingness to learn Dutch.
