To expand our Operations team, we are looking for a Shift Leader who will work with colleagues to ensure productivity and quality in production. Do you see yourself excelling in this role? What does the position entail?
You manage, coach, and motivate colleagues within the Operations team
You ensure efficient task distribution among the team members
You guarantee a smooth handover at the end of each shift
You identify and resolve any issues or failures that arise
You initiate and coordinate improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, and (food) safety
You collaborate with the Logistics team to ensure the availability of raw materials on the shop floor
You take responsibility for (food) safety and quality, ensuring compliance
You actively participate in the (weekly) Shift Leaders’ meeting
You provide daily reports to the Operations Manager

What do we ask for?
You have at least an MBO level of working and thinking (a VAPRO diploma or similar is an advantage)
You possess technical knowledge, insight, and skills
Accuracy, organization, and tidiness come naturally to you
You have a proactive attitude, working independently and solving problems effectively
You are knowledgeable about HACCP requirements
You are willing to work in a three-shift system
You have a good command of Dutch and can communicate effectively in English

Through in-depth knowledge of the baby food category, Joannusmolen develops relevant products in line with the latest trends and developments. Joannusmolen uses legumes and special cereals as a basis. We then combine playful and challenging shapes with vegetables and fruit. Low in salt, low in fat, oven-baked, not fried, no sugar added etc. The modern production facility is fully robotised and built to produce as efficiently as possible to ensure full focus on controlling the process and quality of the products. Sustainability has been in our DNA for 40 years. We are continuously driven to devise and implement solutions that help make the world a little more liveable for ourselves and the generations to come.
