Over deze vacature

Introduction

You open your dashboard and immediately see where adjustments are needed. A deviation in the margin, a KPI that's lagging, or a trend that offers opportunities for the coming period. You understand, and have an intrinsic interest in the business, and can empathize with their information needs. You translate opportunities and risks into clear advice for the executive and management teams. As a Business Controller, you ensure that data not only provides insight, but also direction. Does this sound like your next step, and do you see yourself as a solid business partner? Read on.

Organization

You will be working at the Labour Power Company (LPC). A group of enthusiastic and entrepreneurial labor market specialists. Our companies, all operating under their own brand name, are located throughout the Netherlands with several recruitment offices abroad.
For this role, we are specifically looking for a business controller who will be actively involved with the companies in our Northeast region, where the regional management you will be working with is based in Vorden/Denekamp.
We are asking you to travel to our head office in Etten-Leur one day a week.
You collaborate with various companies while working closely with other business controllers, the group controller, and the CFO. The work environment is dynamic, professional, and focused on growth and development.

Function

As a Business Controller, you play a key role in further developing the controlling function within the organization. You report to the Group Controller and CFO and translate strategic objectives into concrete management information for leadership.
You are responsible for analyzing monthly figures and other analyses that provide insight into performance, trends, and deviations. Based on this, you advise management, both reactively and proactively, and act as a full business partner to the companies' executive boards. In doing so, you support the business in achieving both financial and non-financial KPIs.
You coordinate and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings and play an important role in the budgeting and forecasting process. You are also involved in tender processes.
You also continuously work on improving processes and managing risks, based on your own findings but also, for example, in response to management reports and auditor findings.
You contribute to the further development of reports and dashboards, including in Power BI, so that the organization can increasingly steer data-driven.
