What does a Medior Platform Engineer at Blenddata do?
For several customers such as Rabobank, De Lage Landen, Damen Shipyards and Nationale-Nederlanden, you lay the foundation for getting started with data-driven work. You will manage and automate infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, ensure secure network connections, and set up a CI/CD process that allows data engineers to deploy quickly and in a controlled manner.
You work with tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps and Azure Monitor to build a robust and scalable platform. Think about managing AKS clusters, setting up logging and alerting with Grafana or Log Analytics, and automating provisioning and deployment. Your work also includes security, RBAC, secrets management (Key Vault) and network configuration.
As a medior, you are actively involved in design and implementation, collaborate with customers and colleagues, and supervise less experienced engineers. You have a keen eye for developer experience and actively contribute to improvements in the platform and the way the team works.

What is expected of me as a Medior Platform Engineer at Blenddata?
Experience with Microsoft Azure components such as Azure DevOps, Key Vault, Azure Container Registry, Monitor, Synapse Networking, etc.
You have worked with Kubernetes (e.g. AKS) and know how to manage and automate clusters
You use Terraform or another IaC tool for setting up reusable infrastructure
You have experience with CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions or ArgoCD
You are structured and analytical, can easily make abstractions and have a problem-solving mind
You are able to translate complex business issues into technical solutions
You think along about security, network architecture and cloud governance within enterprise environments
Taking customers and stakeholders on a journey comes naturally to you. You know how to maintain an overview and spot opportunities.
Coaching and guiding less experienced colleagues gives you energy.

What does our perfect match look like?
You have 2 years or more of work experience and fancy joining an ambitious and growing company.
You have a completed university degree (WO) in Computer Science, Data Science or another quantitative field.
You have the ambition to take data engineering to the next level by applying software engineering best practices. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues.
Spotting opportunities and advising customers in an informal way comes naturally to you, while you build long-term relationships with customers.
You enjoy working in a team and play a role in coaching juniors.

You speak and write Dutch and English fluently.

How will you be rewarded for this position?
: between €3,500 and €5,000 per month, depending on your experience
