DENS develops and delivers advanced mobile energy and battery solutions for demanding sectors — from construction and ports to critical infrastructure and inland shipping. We are a fast-growing company of around 170 people, founded as a TU/e spin-off and based in Helmond, the Netherlands. Engineering, production, service and the office are all under one roof, and all run on the same IT environment.

Managing and optimising the infrastructure — You keep our IT systems, networks and infrastructure running, and actively look for what could be faster, more stable or simpler.

• Servers, hardware and software: you set them up, configure them properly and keep them up to date.
• You monitor the systems, prefer to see problems coming, and resolve incidents before colleagues are affected.
• From implementations to migrations: you take part in projects and think along about the technical solution.
• You make sure our data is secure, backups work as intended and updates are rolled out on time.
• You record processes and systems clearly, so knowledge does not stay with one person.
• Where needed you step in with hands-on IT support for colleagues.

Bachelor or vocational level in IT, systems and network administration or similar
Several years of experience as an IT engineer, system administrator or in a comparable role
Experience with Windows (Server) operating systems, virtualization and Microsoft 365 management
Basic knowledge of networks such as switching, routing, and firewalls
Structured and careful — you document because you would rather find things back yourself too
Independent and solution-oriented, and you explain technology clearly to non-technical colleagues
Fluent in both Dutch and English — good spoken command of both languages is a requirement
