All-round Maintenance Technician

What are you going to do?
As a maintenance technician, you are often on the road with your own well-equipped company bus and you mainly work on location with our customers. You provide preventive maintenance or resolve malfunctions, but you also carry out inspections. Installing new installations or modifying existing machines are also part of your work. You will also sometimes work in the workshop in Kapelle. For example, to prepare for a new installation or to overhaul a machine part that you brought from the customer.
As a maintenance technician, cooperation with our customers in the food industry is very important. Together with them you coordinate the work and offer solutions for improvement. The food world never stands still. It is therefore sometimes necessary to work outside normal working hours (from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm). This is not a structural irregularity but about flexibility so that we can meet the sometimes changing needs of our customers. We do not work on Sundays.

What do we ask of you?
You have MBO working and thinking level, preferably in metal.
You have demonstrable work experience as a maintenance engineer.
You can work independently and take responsibility for your work.
You function well within a small team and contribute ideas where necessary.
You have a category B driving license (or are willing to obtain one in the short term).
Where are you going to work?
Butech BV is a small construction and machine building company that is mainly active in the food processing industry. We make platforms, stairs, frames and fencing, among other things. But we also realize new (transport) systems or we can modify existing systems. We usually do all this in stainless steel, but we also work with other materials such as steel and aluminum.
In addition to CNC machining, construction, and mechanical engineering, we offer our clients on-site industrial maintenance. We perform a wide range of mechanical work, including regular preventative machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
We are located in Kapelle and will be moving to our new premises in Goes at the end of 2026. Our service area covers the province of Zeeland. We believe in flexibility and a decisive and pragmatic approach to achieve the right results.
