Our interns assist us with a wide range of tasks. There are usually at least two Leiden Convention Bureau interns at any given time, which gives you the opportunity to collaborate with one another and focus on different areas of our work. Regular tasks include assisting with social media planning (from drafting posts for our LinkedIn page to scheduling and posting the final results), communications (such as creating and distributing our newsletter), website management, writing articles for our website and organising events.
As an intern at the Leiden Convention Bureau, you will be immediately included in the entire Leiden&Partners team. There is a good balance between hard work and pleasant collegiality. You can indicate in what you want to grow, and this is really taken into account when dividing tasks! This makes the internship an excellent opportunity to further develop yourself in the field of communication, events and the congress world.
I started my internship at Leiden Convention Bureau at the beginning of September 2023. From the very start, I felt like an integral part of the team. This internship was a great opportunity for me to develop myself in the world of conferences and events. I looked forward to continuing my personal and professional growth in the months working there. I highly recommend Leiden Convention Bureau to anyone seeking a pleasant working atmosphere and valuable work experience!
I started my internship here in January and I really enjoyed it. What I liked about this internship was that you were never stuck with one task, but had different tasks and quite a lot of freedom. The work culture at Leiden Convention Bureau was very collaborative and I learned a lot from my colleagues, who were experts in their field. The team was really friendly and always very helpful. I felt part of the team because you were involved in everything the organisation did.
In the past three months, I've really enjoyed my internship at Leiden Convention Bureau. I worked on a broad variety of tasks, such as managing the social media, writing copy, and creating content for our newsletters and website. You work together in a small, tight-knit team, where there is a lot of space for suggestion and showing your creativity. Over the past few months, I've been able to let my expertise grow a lot!
During the third year of my Tourism Management study, I was able to gain practical experience for 5 months by doing an internship at the Leiden Convention Bureau, part of Leiden&Partners. I am very happy with the choice I made by choosing the Leiden Convention Bureau, the team involves you in the work and my input and presence felt important. During the internship you are really part of the team and you participate in the tasks that play within the company at that time.
I highly recommend Leiden Convention Bureau to anyone wishing to grow professionally and launch their career. The organisation provided me with a well-rounded education, exciting challenges and, most importantly, a lot of fun. I am confident that it will do the same for others.
From March to July, I interned at Leiden&Partners Leiden Convention Bureau. During my time there, I received unlimited guidance, support and encouragement. I never felt like just an intern but rather a valued team member, as my ideas and initiatives were taken seriously. I had the opportunity to work on important projects, which gave me a great sense of responsibility and constantly challenged me to learn and grow. I highly recommend this internship to anyone who wants to get the most out of their experience. It was truly one of the highlights of my studies!
