Finance Administrator

For the Bies companies, with locations in Marum, Heerenveen and Oosterwolde, we are looking for a Finance Administrator who enjoys working with numbers, collaborating with colleagues and maintaining a clear overview across several companies.
In this varied role, you will be responsible for the accurate, timely and complete processing of financial transactions. You will work independently, support the Financial Controller and contribute to a reliable financial administration that fits the specific processes of a manufacturing environment.
HTM Bies specialises in the development, engineering, manufacturing, and inspection of high quality stainless steel industrial equipment.
From our location in Marum, we work on technically challenging projects for customers in industries including energy, oil and gas, environmental technology, food, dairy, and process industries.

This is what your working day looks like
As a Finance Administrator, you are responsible for keeping the financial administration accurate, complete and up to date across the different companies. You manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, process bank transactions and payments, and ensure that invoicing is handled correctly and on time.
You also take care of expense and purchase-related documentation, prepare the necessary information for tax returns and CBS statistical filings, and support the Financial Controller with day-to-day financial activities. In this role, you create structure and reliability in the financial processes and help ensure that management and colleagues can depend on clear and accurate financial information.
What skills do you bring to the role of Finance Administrator?
You have MBO+ level of working and thinking
You have knowledge of and experience with Microsoft and ERP Systems
You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
Proven ability to perform financial administrative tasks, preferably gained through several years of relevant work experience
You have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
You are confident to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues

You will be offered a contract with HTM BIES straight away, with the prospect of a permanent position, a salary commensurate with your age and experience, travel allowance and a good pension scheme through PMT.
