Over deze vacature

Introduction

A large transformer is built step by step, and you'll contribute an important part: the winding set. You'll isolate, bend, finish, and check if everything is correct before the product moves on in the process. As a Coil Construction Mechanic, you'll work on technically high-quality products that are ultimately used in energy networks around the world. Do you have technical insight and an eye for quality? Then this is a great job for you.

Organization

This organization is active in transformer technology and develops technical solutions that play a significant role in the energy supply of tomorrow. At the modern production site in Nijmegen, approximately 400 colleagues work daily on large transformers, with quality, safety, and innovation at the forefront.
You will be working in the Coil Construction department. This is where windings are assembled into complete winding sets for transformers. Within this department, craftsmanship, precision work, and good collaboration with colleagues are key. There is also room to contribute ideas for improvements in the work process.

Function

As a Coil Winding Technician, you work on preparing, assembling, and finishing windings. You engage in activities such as insulating, bending, and custom-making leads. You also apply insulation materials and place parts such as spigots, cylinders, covers, and collars.
