Function

As a Stevedore, you are responsible for correctly stacking goods on pallets. You receive container information and pallet configurations from the Products Assistants. On this basis, you and your colleagues determine how the boxes and bags should be placed. Thereby you pay attention to packaging, best-before dates (THT) and deviations in the load.
The combination of physical strength and accuracy is essential. Lifting bags up to 25 pounds or regularly bending over and working above your strength is part of your daily tasks. The workload can be high, especially at peak times. In the beginning, you work full days to master the pace and method of work. Once you've mastered that? Then your workday may be shorter, but you'll get paid as usual.
Is it quiet? Then you help unload goods or keep the warehouse tidy. Flexibility and collegiality are valued here.

What do we ask of you?

• You have a command of the Dutch and/or English language;
• You are physically strong and used to lifting, bending and working above your strength;
• You live in the region of Oss (max. 20 km) and have your own transportation;
• You are accurate and alert to discrepancies in packaging or product data;
• You are looking for a long-term position.

Offer

What to expect.

• A gross hourly wage of €15.76 (from 21 years of age). Are you younger than 21? Then your salary will be between €10.72 and €12.50, depending on experience;
• Full-time employment of 36 hours per week;
• Working hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., schedule determined every two weeks;
• 25 vacation days + 11.8 ADV hours per year;
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer (according to internal regulations);
• Spacious, modern canteen with facilities for preparing your own meals and taking breaks;
