Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea of Dublin, Ohio is looking for an experienced Barista to join our store! Ideally, you'll have previous experience pulling manual shots on an espresso machine, and know how to handle large volumes of customers without breaking a sweat.

Barista Responsibilities

Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, drip coffee, teas, and specialty beverages to recipe and quality standardsOperate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipmentGreet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and handle transactions at the registerMaintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar and prep area throughout each shiftFollow food safety and sanitation procedures at all timesHelp train and mentor new team members on drink preparation and customer service standardsHelp manage speed of service during peak hours without sacrificing quality

Barista Requirements

Experience as a barista in a cafe or coffee shop settingWorking knowledge of manual espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte artAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbsAvailable to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as neededMust be at least 18 years old

Barista Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and consistency in drink preparationExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while staying calm under pressureComfortable handling cash and point-of-sale systemsReliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a teamPassion for coffee and hospitality
