Interim Business Analyst

For an asset manager I'm recruiting for an Interim Business Analyst with experience in the Financial Markets in the investment risk management area.
My client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced business analyst with solid experience in the Financial Markets within Investment Risk Management, to temporarily strengthen an Agile team, consisting of business users and developers. Current focus of the scrum is on the redesign of a number of risk reports (for example related to securities lending) and Responsible Investing.

• Business Analyst with proven experience (minimum 5 years) in the Financial Markets in the investment risk management area. The assignment relates to investment risk as opposed to for instance operational risk management which does not qualify as relevant experience;
• Thorough, and proven, understanding of financial instruments, and its characteristics. Candidates that lack this knowledge will not be considered;
• Experience with Blackrock Aladdin is considered a plus.

• Able to analyze and challenge business requirements
• Able to translate and convey business requirements to the developers in the scrum;
• Able to test changes, and to coordinate User Acceptance Testing;
• Proven affinity with technology, preferably AWS;
• Used to work in an Agile environment;
• Able to work with colleagues with multiple cultural backgrounds who are partly off shore;

Length of the assignment is initially 6 months starting ultimately Oct 1 (earlier start can be discussed) and is likely to be extended.
My client has recently opened its offices again and is operating in a hybrid modus. The interim manager is expected to work parttime in the office, and parttime from home.
