Business Analyst Card Portfolio Analytics Location: Remote Candidates must be located in the Pacific (PST) or Mountain (MST) Time Zone Duration: 10 Months Interview: 2-3 Round Virtual interview Note: LinkedIn with lcoation Must be in PST or MST Position Summary The Business Analyst Card Portfolio Analytics will provide dedicated reporting, analytics, and business intelligence support for a credit union's card portfolio, with a primary focus on a new card program. This role will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of portfolio performance, delivering actionable insights, and serving as a trusted analytical partner to business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and reporting skills, advanced Microsoft Excel expertise, and experience in card services, payments, or card portfolio management. The individual will respond to ongoing business inquiries, develop and enhance recurring reports, analyze portfolio trends, and translate complex data into practical, data-driven business recommendations. An important aspect of this role will be identifying opportunities to simplify, streamline, and improve existing reporting processes, including lengthy and complex reports. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Required Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, reporting, card services, card operations, or a related field. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex data analysis and reporting. Proven experience developing, refining, maintaining, and improving business reports. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret quantitative data, identify trends, and evaluate business performance. Demonstrated ability to translate data into practical, data-driven recommendations. Knowledge of payments, card services, card operations, or card portfolio management. Strong business judgment and the ability to serve as a thought partner to business stakeholders. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and respond to ongoing business requests. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to meeting deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present analytical findings clearly. Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Strongly Qualifications Experience with DataChoice, First Data, or Symitar platforms. Experience using Microsoft Copilot or similar AI-enabled productivity tools. Experience supporting credit union card portfolios or payment card programs. Exposure to AI-assisted coding or development tools, such as Claude Code. Experience simplifying, standardizing, or automating recurring reporting processes. Experience supporting a new card product launch, card portfolio optimization, or related business initiatives.
