Our client is an innovative and entrepreneurial FinTech based in the Eastern region of the Netherlands. The organisation is continuously evolving and is focused on further professionalising its services to better meet the needs of its clients.
The Interim CFRO plays a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of the organisation and safeguarding its financial health and risk management within a regulated FinTech environment. As CFRO, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial and risk-related aspects of the organisation and will act as a strategic partner to the CEO and other members of the Executive Board.
The Interim CFRO will contribute significantly to the development of a future-proof and robust board structure. In addition, this role holds responsibility for maintaining relationships with regulators and the external auditor.
A people-oriented CFRO with strong communication skills;
An experienced leader and chair within the Executive Team;
A strong connector across all levels of the organisation;
Courteous, patient, and calm under pressure;
Extensive experience in the financial sector; experience within a FinTech environment is a strong advantage;
Possesses product and market knowledge;
Acts as a key cultural ambassador within the organisation;
Strategically focused, maintaining a clear distance from day-to-day operational tasks;
Formal yet pragmatic in approach;
Preferably already assessed by the Dutch Central Bank (DNB); this is not a commercial role;
The emphasis is not on technical content, but you should have a solid affinity with products and technology;
Significant experience in stakeholder management, capable of building strong relationships within the executive team, with regulators, and the Supervisory Board (RvC);
Fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written.
