The objective of the position of independent working chef at Brasserie Ambassade is to prepare our dishes from the classic French cuisine, presented with a modern twist. You will be responsible for your own section and work independently to create and perfect our signature dishes. Alongside the F&B team, you will ensure consistent and excellent service, ensuring guests return time and again.
Quality control: Inspecting dishes for taste, presentation, and consistency before they are served to guests.
Mise en place: Preparing and organizing all ingredients and supplies for lunch and/or dinner.
Menu preparation: Independently preparing dishes according to restaurant recipes and specifications, with precision and quality being essential.

Contributing to the development and implementation of the breakfast buffet in collaboration with the F&B team.

Enthusiastically sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues.
An important point of contact for both guests and the team.

Minimum of 2 years kitchen experience, preferably in a high-quality restaurant or hotel.
Knowledge of French cuisine: Experience with classic French cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors is essential.
Organizational skills: Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize kitchen activities, including managing time and resources for optimal efficiency.
Resilience: The ability to work under pressure, maintaining high standards and delivering performance during peak hours and busy services.
Hygiene and safety: Strict adherence to hygiene and food safety standards to ensure the health of guests and team members.

The position requires flexibility in workdays and hours, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.
In the kitchen and in collaboration with the F&B team.

Salary: from € 2548,- per month (based on 40 hours)
