Clinical Research Associate II Job at ICON, Chicago, IL
Clinical Research Associate II supporting sponsor-dedicated studies at a global CRO. The role manages site relationships, conducts monitoring visits, ensures regulatory compliance, and maintains clinical documentation across multiple therapeutic areas.
Serve as primary liaison between investigational sites and sponsor
Conduct site selection, initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits
Ensure site compliance with ICH-GCP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
Monitor patient safety and manage adverse event reporting
Resolve data queries and oversee drug accountability

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or equivalent, or registered nurse
2+ years of on-site monitoring experience in pharmaceutical or CRO setting
Proficiency in ICH-GCP, CTMS, and eTMF systems
Monitoring experience across multiple therapeutic areas
Eligible to work in US without visa sponsorship
Willing to travel 60-75% across southeast region
