Interim Data Analyst

For a bank I am searching for an interim Data Analyst with experience in data requirements & data modelling.
For a bank I am recruiting for an Interim Data Analyst with experience in data requirements and data modelling. You will be part of a large digitalization program focused on investment processes.
A new project aims to optimize and automate the end-to-end investment process. For this project a Data Analyst is needed with analytical background to reach out to different stakeholdersin the organization to gather and dive deep into the data requirements at each key process step in the investment process, across the full product portfolio. Because the bank focusses on helping to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this includes regular information needed to track leads and opportunities supporting the bank’s investment decision stages as well as particular attention on the data required for assessing ESG impact and downstream reporting.
The candidate will work within the Data Management department, primarily with one of the Data Architects but also with colleagues in the Business Intelligence & Analytics team. Project-focus means the candidate needs to cooperate with the Project Manager, Business Process Analysts, ICT Business Analysts and some staff in front-office and mid-office teams. Also, workshops with data consumers in Risk, Finance, Regulatory Reporting and Impact reporting teams are expected.

• Work with Business Process Analysts, Data Architects and Investment Officers to elicit and document comprehensive (data) requirements at decision points in the investment process
• Develop and document logical data models, data flows and golden sources where data must be used for downstream systems consumption
• Support the Solution Architect(s) in formulating solution approaches & designs
• Support the Project Manager in identifying risks and issues based on insights gained through (data) requirements analysis

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Information Management, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science and Analytics, or related field)
• Experience in the financial services and knowledge of banking / financial products

• Requirement gathering (inquiring, documenting, prioritizing)
• Data and source analysis (identify how information in the source is set-up and how data flows are implemented)
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Very good Verbal and Written communication skills in English (should be able to clearly present the results of the analysis)

The candidate is expected to work 32 – 40h per week with at least 2 days per week on location and based on an initial 6 months contract with possible extension depending on the projects’ requirements.
