Als Data Engineer werk je aan moderne data-oplossingen voor uiteenlopende organisaties. Je helpt klanten bij het ontwerpen, bouwen en optimaliseren van dataplatformen waarmee betrouwbare data beschikbaar komt voor analyses, rapportages en datagedreven besluitvorming. Je werkt aan uitdagende greenfield- en transformatietrajecten waarbij kwaliteit, schaalbaarheid en toekomstbestendigheid centraal staan.Je dagelijkse taken bestaan onder andere uit:
Ontwerpen, bouwen en beheren van data pipelines binnen Azure Databricks.
Ontsluiten en integreren van data uit diverse bron- en doelsystemen.
Implementeren van ETL- en ELT-processen met onder andere PySpark, SQL en dbt.
Werken met Delta Lake, Spark Declarative Pipelines en Lakehouse-architecturen.
Ontwikkelen van batch- en streamingoplossingen voor dataverwerking.
Inrichten van CI/CD-processen en automatisering binnen data-platformen.
Waarborgen van datakwaliteit, betrouwbaarheid en performance.
Samenwerken met Data Architecten, analisten en stakeholders om businessvraagstukken te vertalen naar technische oplossingen.

Je krijgt voornamelijk te maken met innovatieve greenfieldprojecten, zowel in de cloud als on-premise, bij diverse klanten in onder meer de fintech, aviation en agrarische sector.
Ervaring als Data Engineer binnen het Microsoft Azure-ecosysteem.
Kennis van Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Spark, Python en SQL.
Analytisch sterk, met een goed gevoel voor de beste technische oplossing.
