You provide specialised knowledge and skills in a specific area of expertise to drive innovation and support successful execution of projects, initiatives, innovations and/or daily operations. Within the Data Tools & Models Team, we work every day on ensuring that TenneT's grid models remain accurate, reliable and future-ready, enabling sound planning and operation of the Dutch electricity system. Do you want to contribute directly to a reliable, affordable and sustainable energy system? Taken & Verantwoordelijkheden Maintain and develop TenneT’s core high-voltage grid model and derived network models for national and European power system analyses. Manage model changes, data quality, and information requests to ensure accurate and reliable modelling data. Continuously improve network models and underlying datasets through analysis, research, and innovation initiatives. Collaborate with operational teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment, consistency, and quality across network models. Represent TenneT in national and European modelling and data management activities, including ENTSO-E working groups. Share expertise, support colleagues with modelling and software-related challenges, and contribute to the development of a centrally managed, company-wide grid model. Jouw profiel Master’s degree (MSc) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline, with strong knowledge of electrical power systems and transmission networks. Proven experience conducting high-voltage grid studies and applying model-based approaches to solve complex technical challenges. Hands-on experience in electrical grid modelling and network analysis. Experience with grid modelling software; knowledge of PowerFactory is considered an advantage. Experience with Python programming and/or the development of analytical tools is a strong advantage. Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, with professional proficiency in English; Dutch language skills are considered an advantage.
