Reporting to the Contractor & Facilities Manager, the Facilities Technician will be expected to work in conjunction with the Contractor & Facilities Manager in carrying out a range of associated duties such as planning, scheduling and auditing a range of contractor and facility maintenance activities for the Derry site.
The Facilities Technician will be expected to assist the Contractor & Facilities Manager in the day-to-day operation of their associated duties. They will also act as cover during Contractor & Facilities Managers holidays or absences. This will include, but not limited to, releasing, scheduling and coordinating any service work that falls due. This will also include any follow-up checks to ensure work has been completed satisfactorily and paperwork signed and left on site if/where required. The Facilities Technician role will involve hands on support to the Contractor & Facilities Manager and the wider team. They will work to the high standard that the Nelipak Healthcare plant has become accustomed to.
Specialised Maintenance / Engineering qualification is required for the role Proven knowledge of COSHH and relevant H&S regulations Experience of supervision / team leading in a previous role would be advantageous
