Sr. Field Application Scientist - MatChar

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to conduct customer visits, technical discussions, product demonstrations, and tender support, providing application solutions for FTIR, UV-Vis, and Thermal Analysis (TGA/DSC).
• Deliver customer training, application support, method development, and data interpretation; troubleshoot analytical challenges and ensure customer success.
• Support technical seminars, exhibitions, and marketing activities through presentations and application sharing.
• Gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights; collaborate with Sales, Service, Marketing, and Product teams to drive business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Analytical Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in analytical instrumentation applications, method development, or technical support.
• Hands-on experience with FTIR, UV-Vis, Thermal Analysis (TGA/DSC), or related analytical technologies.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, customer-facing, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel and work collaboratively across functions.
• CET-4 or above, with the ability to read and understand technical documentation and scientific literature in English.
