Field Service Engineer

Location: Bengaluru (Bangalore) or New Delhi, India Remote / Home-Based
We are looking for experienced and technically skilled Field Service Engineers to join our growing INNOVATEST India team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our advanced benchtop hardness testing equipment at customer sites throughout India. You will work independently from your home base in Bengaluru or New Delhi, travelling extensively across India (70–80%). You will receive specialised technical training at our headquarters in Maastricht, the Netherlands, and ongoing support from our international service team.
Install, commission, calibrate, and maintain benchtop hardness testing equipment.
Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, mechatronic, and software-related issues.
Perform calibration and verification in accordance with applicable ISO and ASTM standards.
Provide technical support and operator training to customers.
Troubleshoot software, firmware, and equipment connectivity issues.
Prepare service reports, calibration documentation, and maintenance records.
Coordinate technical support with our international service team.

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
5–10 years of relevant service experience, preferably with benchtop Rockwell, Brinell, Vickers, or Universal hardness testing equipment.
Strong technical skills in mechatronics, electronics, precision mechanics, and software troubleshooting.
Experience with calibration, metrology, and ISO/ASTM testing standards.
Independent, analytical, customer-focused, and proactive.
Good command of English and strong communication skills.
Based in Bengaluru or New Delhi, with willingness to travel 70–80% throughout India.
