Electrical Control Engineer

Location: Greater Edmonton, AB (Hybrid)

A growing industrial engineering and heat management organization is seeking a Electrical Control Engineer to support electrical, controls, and automation projects across energy and industrial facilities.

What You'll Do

• Design electrical and control systems for industrial projects

• Develop and support PLC/HMI applications

• Design control panels and power distribution systems

• Support FAT/SAT, commissioning, troubleshooting, and startup activities

• Work with instrumentation, field devices, and industrial communications

• Mentor junior engineers and designers

What We're Looking For

• P.Eng. designation (APEGA preferred)

• 5+ years of industrial electrical and controls experience

• PLC/HMI experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Schneider)

• Knowledge of power distribution, instrumentation, and panel design

• AutoCAD proficiency

• Commissioning and project delivery experience

• Electric Heat Tracing (EHT) experience is an asset
